18 April 2009: First Race Win
Black Caviar won the Listed Blue Sapphire Stakes (1200m) at Caulfield, leading all the way to score by six lengths and confirm her rising star status.

2 May 2009: First Stakes Win
Returning as a three-year-old, Black Caviar won the Listed William Crockett Stakes (1200m) at Moonee Valley by nearly four lengths in her first run at the track.

22 August 2009: First Valley Win
Black Caviar won the Group 2 Danehill Stakes (1200m) at Flemington, overcoming a poor start to remain unbeaten in her toughest test yet.

5 September 2009: First Group Win
